Since 2011 following the rebuilding of the La Jitas EDR water plant we targeted the development of water recycling for the Oil & Gas Industry. We ran numerous systems at numerous sites in Texas. The first site was located at an Eagle Ford Horizontal well located near Pearsall, Texas.Following the completion of the "flow back" stage QCS chose to set up for a longer term research site at a conventional Salt Water Disposal well located at Pleasanton, Texas for a more extensive R&D facility. Numerous technologies and numerous components were tested and used there. Most of the existing technologies were tested to develop a complete system.

An extensive joint pilot partnership with a premier "water & wastewater" company included Parkson Company http://parkson.com/

Some of the "technologies" included: Electro Coagulation, Flocculation, Dissolved Air Flotation, Alar Vacuum Drum, Filter Press, Chemistry, PH adjustment, Lamela, Vacuum Recompression Distillation, Membrane,  and Resident Energy treatment.

We found that there are no "new" technologies. All of the candidates are long proven for water treatments so understanding which ones are needed and how to use them became our goal.

The last missing piece to the "puzzle" was the "oil & water separator". We did not find any of the "available" brand s really worked for the oilfield. We targeted the need for a good oil recovery system to fill the need of the complete water recycling system. We have developed and have proven a new proprietary and innovated system at 2 operating SWD sites.
